Alwinco invites
Business leaders and decision-makers to attend an exclusive Security Workshop on 26 and 27 February, the first in a series of ten sessions designed to redefine how companies understand and manage risk. The growing number of questions about Security Risk Assessments has shown that many organizations misunderstand what these assessments truly involve. This workshop will focus on the ten biggest mistakes corporate companies make when it comes to security and aims to build a new foundation for smarter decision-making and effective communication.
The workshop will be interactive, practical, and based on real-life experience rather than theory.
Topics include the importance of willpower and communication in security, the common problem of poorly planned control rooms, and how ongoing training and maintenance ensure long-term results. Attendees will also explore the risk matrix, learn how to measure acceptable risk levels, and understand the difference between crime prevention and crime hardware. Real examples from major South African companies will show how significant investments in technology can still fail without proper strategy.
This workshop matters because, despite advancements in technology, security thinking has remained stagnant for over 60 years. Traditional approaches are no longer effective, as proven by rising crime statistics. The goal is to challenge outdated methods, apply logic and insight, and help organizations protect people, property, and data more effectively.
Attendance is limited to 20 people per day to allow for active participation and discussion. Every attendee will receive a free e-book, The 10 Risk Mistakes Every Company Makes.
Led by André Mundell, who has over 40 years of experience in security and two decades specializing in independent Security Risk Assessments, this event draws on proven, real-world insight. Unlike other workshops, Alwinco’s session is not about selling products but about empowering attendees with knowledge to make informed, independent security decisions.
