Breach of confidentiality

Security risk assessment confidentiality
When a client requests that we sign an NDA, we have no problem signing it.

The client requests references on other clients for whom we’ve done risk assessments, expecting us to respect their confidentiality while asking us to breach another’s. This is a trick question, in my opinion, and it will never happen.

This policy is stated on our website and represents one of Alwinco’s key principles. We will not violate confidentiality with an existing client in order to acquire a new client. We have encountered numerous challenges and risks related to this topic. To give you a brief idea We do not meet with every client who requests RFQs. We often only meet with some of these clients later.  When we receive an RFQ request, we can’t confirm its legitimacy until it’s approved.

We recently conducted an independent security risk assessment for a residential estate in Centurion, where we identified risks that are frequently missed in standard assessments. Our independent perspective allowed us to recommend targeted measures to enhance the safety of residents and strengthen the estate’s overall security framework.

If you would like to learn more about our assessments or have specific topics you would like us to address, please email your suggestions to andre@alwinco.co.za. We will create and publish articles on our website tailored to your interests.

Even with all the RFQ details, I won’t disclose another client’s information.

Please keep in mind that the present client cannot guarantee that just because they were satisfied with the service Alwinco provided for them, you would be as well. I, Andre Mundell am the only one who can give you such assurance.

Please search for “Alwinco” and my name, “Andre Mundell,” on the internet.

Not everyone on the property or in the business will welcome Alwinco’s Security Risk Assessment. The security manager often resents the CEO’s request, seeing it as a lack of trust. The Directors are sometimes dissatisfied when the Investors request the Security Risk Assessment. Financial Directors are sometimes dissatisfied because investors, the board, and others requested the security assessment.

Someone will always be upset when the truth is sought during a Risk Assessment.

Those responsible for certain security equipment or processes are dissatisfied during the Assessment as they see their assumptions proven wrong. This is especially true when it comes to management and communication.

To summarize,

Alwinco’s security risk assessors and consultants are unable to provide you with a reference without violating our existing client’s NDA. Imagine our client receiving an unexpected email or call from a stranger asking for details about Andre Mundell and Alwinco’s Risk Assessment process.

The client will be shocked to learn that we have breached our contract after having signed an NDA with them. This will result in Alwinco losing all credibility and trust with both existing and new consumers. Even if this means we would not be qualified for some RFQs or other jobs, we will not jeopardize our confidentiality or integrity.
